In Thai and Buddhist contexts, Indra is revered as a Dharma Protector, safeguarding the virtuous and defending the Buddhist religion. His main weapon is the Vajra (thunderbolt), and his vehicle is the elephant Erawan (Airavata). He is typically depicted with a green or golden body, a thousand eyes, and four arms.
