เป็นการเต้นรำอย่างหนึ่งตามหลักนาฏยศาสตร์ของตำนานฮินดู มีท่าทีที่อ่อนช้อย งดงาม นุ่มนวลของพระศิวะนาฏราช ร่ายรำเพื่อสร้างสรรค์ รักษาจักรวาลให้เป็นไปอย่างสมดุล ในภาพพระศิวะทรงร่ายรำพร้อมกับครอบครัว ได้แก่ พระแม่อุมาเทวี พระพิฆเนศและพระการติเกยะ เป็นการสื่อถึงความเป็นไปของครอบครัวในการเริ่มต้น รักษาสมดุล นั่นเอง
