057 พระแม่กาลี Wrath of kali

พระแม่กาลีคือปางอวตารอันดุดันของพระแม่อุมา ผู้ถือกำเนิดขึ้นเพื่อทำลายอสูรและกำจัดพลังอวิชชาในโลก พระนางมีรูปลักษณ์น่าเกรงขาม ดำสนิท ผมสยายยาว สวมมาลัยกะโหลกและเข็มขัดจากแขนมนุษย์ สื่อถึงชัยชนะเหนือมารทั้งปวง แม้พลังจะรุนแรง แต่แก่นแท้ของกาลีคือความรักและการคุ้มครอง เธอทำลายเพื่อให้เกิดความบริสุทธิ์ใหม่ พระนางยืนเหนือพระศิวะแสดงถึงการหยุดยั้งพลังที่กำลังควบคุมไม่ได้ ภาพของพระแม่กาลีจึงสื่อถึง “พลังแห่งการปลดปล่อย ความกล้าเผชิญความจริง และการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างเด็ดขาด”.

Goddess Kali is the fierce Avatar of Uma (Goddess Parvati), who originated to destroy demons (Asuras) and eliminate the forces of ignorance (Avidya) in the world.
She possesses a formidable appearance: pitch black skin, long flowing hair, wearing a garland of skulls and a belt made of human arms, symbolizing Her victory over all evil forces. Though Her power is intense, the essence of Kali is love and protection; She destroys in order to facilitate new purity.
Her posture, standing over Lord Shiva, signifies the stopping of an uncontrolled, overwhelming power. Thus, the image of Goddess Kali conveys the “power of liberation, the courage to face reality, and decisive transformation.”
