๑ ใน ๓๒ ปางของพระพิฆเนศ ปางแห่งนักรบผู้กล้าหาญ มี๑๖ กร ทรงอาวุธต่าง ๆ แสดงถึงอำนาจและการขจัดอุปสรรค ปกป้องคุ้มครอง ทำลาย ความชั่วร้าย นำมาซึ่งอำนาจในการบริหารปกครอง มีตำนานกว่าวว่าพระวีระคณปติมาเพื่อปราบมุสิกาสูร หลังจากการสู้รบ มุสิกาสูรได้สำนักผิดและขอเป็นข้ารับใช้ พระวีระคณปติ จึงทรงเปลี่ยนอสูรให้กลายเป็นพาหนะ คู่กายของพระองค์ตลอดไป ซึ่งเป็นที่มาของหนูที่เป็นพาหนะของพระพิฆเนศในปางปกติด้วย

Vīra GanapatiVīra Ganapati is one of the 32 forms of Lord Ganesha, representing the courageous warrior. He possesses sixteen arms wielding various weapons, symbolizing his authority, his ability to remove obstacles, his power to protect, and his role in destroying evil. He is said to bring authority in governance. According to legend, Vīra Ganapati appeared to subdue the demon Musikasura. After the battle, Musikasura repented and requested to become a servant. Vīra Ganapati then transformed the demon into his eternal companion and vehicle, which is the origin of the mouse/rat as Lord Ganesha’s carrier in his normal forms as well.
