พระเกตุ (Ketu) – เทพแห่งการหลุดพ้น ญาณทิพย์ และพลังเหนือวัตถุพระเกตุคือเทพนพเคราะห์ผู้เป็น “ด้านตรงข้าม” ของพระราหู ทั้งสองล้วนกำเนิดจากอสูรตนเดียวกันในเหตุการณ์กวนน้ำอมฤต เมื่อร่างของอสูรถูกจอมเทพตัดออกเป็นสองส่วน ส่วนศีรษะกลายเป็นพระราหู ส่วนลำตัวเป็น พระเกตุ ผู้มีธรรมชาติสงบ ลึกลับ และทรงญาณอันละเอียดอ่อนเหนือโลกวัตถุพลังของพระเกตุเกี่ยวพันกับ การหลุดพ้น (Moksha) ความตื่นรู้ภายใน การตัดความยึดติด การชำระกรรมทางจิตใจ และความเข้าใจในสัจธรรมที่ลึกซึ้งกว่าปรากฏการณ์ภายนอก พระองค์สื่อถึงช่วงเวลาที่มนุษย์ได้รับสัญญาณภายใน การปล่อยวาง บทเรียนชีวิตที่ทำให้เติบโตทางจิตวิญญาณ และความสามารถในการมองเห็นสิ่งที่ซ่อนอยู่ใต้เปลือกแห่งโลกีย์ในโหราศาสตร์ พระเกตุเป็นพลังที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสิ่งเหนือธรรมชาติ สัญชาตญาณสูง การรู้แจ้ง ความเฉียบคมทางวิญญาณ การเดินทางภายใน และโชคแบบกะทันหันที่เกิดจากผลบุญเก่า ผู้คนเชื่อว่าการบูชาพระเกตุช่วยให้เกิดความสงบชั้นลึก เปิดประตูแห่งปัญญาญาณ

Ketu is the Navagraha deity (celestial body) who represents the “opposite side” of Rahu. Both originated from the same demon during the Churning of the Ocean of Milk. When the demon’s body was severed into two by the Supreme God, the head became Rahu, and the torso became Ketu, an entity with a peaceful, mysterious nature, possessing subtle, transcendental knowledge beyond the material world.
Ketu’s energy is intertwined with Moksha (Liberation), inner awakening, detachment from material possessions, purification of mental karma, and the understanding of deeper truths beyond external appearances. He signifies periods when humans receive inner signs, learn to let go, gain life lessons that lead to spiritual growth, and develop the ability to see what is hidden beneath the superficial layers of the mundane world.
In astrology, Ketu is associated with the supernatural, high intuition, enlightenment, spiritual sharpness, inner journeying, and sudden fortune arising from past good deeds (Punya). People believe that worshipping Ketu brings deep inner peace and opens the doors to intuitive wisdom (Jnana).
