011 พระอัศวิน Ashwins

พระอัศวิน เทพฝาแฝดผู้เป็นสัญลักษณ์ของรุ่งอรุณ และพลังชีวิตที่ตื่นขึ้นใหม่ เป็นโอรสของ พระสุริยเทพ และ นางสัญญา (Sanjna) ซึ่งแปลงกายเป็นม้า ทำให้พระอัศวินีทั้งสองมีเศียรเป็นม้าและเป็นเทพผู้หล่อเลี้ยงชีวิต ฟื้นฟูพลัง และชี้นำผู้คนจากความมืดสู่ความสว่างของวันใหม่ ถือเป็นเทพที่มาช่วยเหลือได้รวดเร็วที่สุด

ในคัมภีร์พระเวท พระอัศวินได้รับการเคารพในฐานะ เทพแห่งการรักษา การฟื้นคืนพลัง พวกพระองค์เคยช่วยเหลือทั้งมนุษย์ ฤๅษี และเทพหลายองค์ให้หายจากโรคภัยหรือกลับมามีพลังอีกครั้ง

The Ashvins (also known as the Ashwini Kumaras) are the twin deities symbolizing the dawn and the reawakening of life force. They are the sons of Surya (the Sun God) and Sanjna (Goddess Sanjna), who had transformed herself into a mare, which is why the Ashvins are sometimes depicted with heads of horses. They are the deities who nourish life, restore energy, and guide people from darkness to the brightness of a new day. They are considered the quickest deities to come to aid.
In the Vedic scriptures, the Ashvins are revered as the Gods of Healing and Restoration. They have helped numerous humans, sages, and other deities to recover from illnesses or regain their strength.
