YamaPhra Yama is the God of Death and the Judge of Souls. He is known as the God of Justice (Dharmaraja) who determines the fate of souls after death based on the Karma accumulated during their lifetime. Yama judges the good and evil deeds of the souls arriving in the underworld, assisted by Chitragupta, the celestial scribe who records all the merits and sins of humans. He is the impartial enforcer of the Law of Karma to maintain moral balance.
