037 พระศุกร์ห้อยหัว Devotion of Shukra

พระศุกร์หนึ่งในเทพนพเคราะห์ ผู้เป็นครูแห่งเหล่าอสูร ได้บำเพ็ญเพื่อขอมนต์สัญชีวนีไว้สำหรับชุบชีวิตลูกศิษย์ให้ฟื้นคืนชีพได้ เพื่อมีอำนาจในการต่อสู้กับเหล่าเทวดา
ซึ่งผ่านการภาวนาอย่างเพียรพยายาม ในที่สุดพระศุกร์ก็ทำสำเร็จทั้งได้มนต์วิเศษ และชยันตีลูกของพระอินทร์ที่ส่งมาขัดขวางทำพิธี ก็กลับกลายมาหลงรักพระศุกร์และอยู่กินด้วยกัน

Shukra, one of the Navagraha deities and the guru of the Asuras (demons), performed intense asceticism (Tapasya) to acquire the Sanjeevani Mantra. This mantra would allow him to revive his disciples and grant them the power to fight against the Devas (celestial beings/gods).
After persistent meditation and dedication, Shukra finally succeeded, obtaining both the magical mantra and the love of Jayanti, the daughter of Phra In (Indra), who was sent to obstruct his ritual. Jayanti ended up falling in love with Shukra, and they lived together.
