Lord RamaThe seventh avatar of Lord Narayana (Vishnu) and the hero of the Ramayana, who vanquished Ravana (Thotsakan). Rama was born as a prince of Ayodhya but was exiled to the forest for 14 years with his brother Lakshmana and his wife Sita. During this period, Sita was abducted by Ravana. Rama then gathered allies, led by Hanuman and the Vanara (monkey) army, to defeat Ravana.
