พระมหาพรหมธาดา คือพระนามที่ใช้เรียก “พระพรหม” ในฐานะตำแหน่ง ที่ยิ่งใหญ่สูงสุด หรืออีกนามหนึ่งคือ ท้าวมหาธาดาปชาบดีพรหม ซึ่งเป็นเทพเจ้าแห่งการสร้างสรรค์ในคติฮินดู มหาเทพผู้สร้างโลก มีหน้าที่หลักคือ การสร้างโลกและสรรพสิ่งต่าง ๆ ในจักรวาล รวมถึงให้กำเนิดคัมภีร์พระเวท อันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ มนุษย์ ฤๅษี ความเชื่อที่โดดเด่นที่สุดคือ พระองค์มีอำนาจ ในการกำหนดหรือลิขิตความเป็นไปของชีวิตมนุษย์ตั้งแต่เกิดจนตาย ซึ่งเป็นที่มาของคำว่า “พรหมลิขิต” นั่นเอง

Maha Brahma Dhatada Maha Brahma Dhatada is a name used to refer to Lord Brahma in his supreme and majestic position, also known as Thao Maha Dhatada Prajapati Brahma, the Hindu God of creation. He is the Great God who creates the world, with the primary duty of creating the universe and all its contents, including giving birth to the sacred Vedas, humans, and ascetics (Rishis). His most prominent belief is that he has the power to determine or dictate the course of human life from birth to death, which is the source of the Thai concept of “Phrom Likit” (Brahma’s Destiny).
